Well, its been quite a long time since the last limo ride.  That's what stayin busy will do to ya.  Its been quite an interesting couple months.  Lets see...the football season is almost over, and my boys out west arent doin too well, but hey, we'll be back.  My hometown boys are doin great tho, 1 win away from makin the playoffs.  Lets see (its hard to remember what all has happened in the past months)...school went good, I passed my class and still have a 3.0 GPA, which all things considered is pretty good, um Bible Study was awesome this semester, the Lord really blessed it and we had an avg. of 4-6 people each week, and they remained faithful throughout, so that was awesome.  Um, bein on the leadership team was really great, have grown close to a lot of people in our group and at's all the Lord's doing there.  and of course work, well, all I can say is the Lord is blessing that beyond what I could've ever imagined, and I cant wait to see what he's got in store for me in '06.  Last week was a pretty interesting week..Monday we handled a suicide, and I was a PCO (Police Communications Officer) for a lil bit, then wednesday got to see the Governor and Lt. Governor which was cool.  I have so many stories from work and have experienced so much already in the past 10 months, and I've loved every minute of it.  Uh, lets see, what else..santa brought me some good stuff this year, but it was fun jus hangin out w/the family yesterday and chillin, catchin up w/everyone.  And...I guess thats it, i'm off from work until the 4th...a nice much needed break from it after workin hard for 10 months straight...good time to relax and gear back up for more..hopefully now i'll be able to keep back up w/this and not give an update every 3 months...yea this was a short ride i know, but its the holidays man, the driver needs to spend time relaxin...plus the limo needs some work, but she'll be back up and runnin strong in a few...so until the next ride....

~Peace

Well, I guess its bout time for me to update this thing.  Uh lets see, what happend since our last adventure...heh, its been so long I dont even know what happend the last time.  Um...my trooper is away for military leave, so I get to drive the truck to work everyday! Saves a ton on gas too.  Speakin of which, is now down under $3/gallon.  While we're on that...kinda, my heart seriously goes out to those in Louisiana and Mississippi.  Tho now the democrats across the country wanna play the blame game...blaming Bush for allowing the Hurricane to come to New Orleans, for a category 3 Hurricane, with the storm surge of a category 4 hurricane, and the flooding of a category 5!! So what...Bush is God now? Yes, he is a Christian, HOWEVER, God did not give him power over water.  And its not Bush's fault that the levee broke...nothing was gonna stop them from breaking...how much pressure do you think poured through after them levees broke?  And plus, nobody expected this to happen.  But sincerely...my heart goes out to everyone down there.
Now for the lighter side of things...uh, oh yea, from Thursday to Saturday of last week, I got 4 hours of sleep..worked 2pm-10pm Thursday nite, then from 6am-2pm Friday..then had a DUI checkpoint Friday nite from 10pm-3am, then had to work again saturday from 3pm-11pm...but hey, Lord gave me strength so, I caint complain.  Uh what else....Bible study started this week, had a good turnout...we increased our attendance 4x!!!! Course...last semester there were 2 teachers...1 student..this year there's already 4 students..classes are goin pretty good...though I'm only takin one, it'll be pretty good...then my online class, well, I may drop it cuz I'm not really motivated to do anything w/it right now...but that's just me.  AND...after 19 years of living on basic...regular TV....we ordered DirecTV today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and better yet, I'm gettin it in my room too!! Oh how I've waited for this day to come!....Now alls I need in there is a minifridge and I'm set, heh, I'll never leave!  Anywho, lets see....ah yes, just started readin 1 Samuel cuz I wanna start gettin to know my OT more, and I'm really likin it, plus w/our Bible study of Hebrews, this will be a fruitful semester I think.  I know the Lord is gonna do some great things this year, and I cant wait to be part of it.  Well sir, i guess that'll do it
NO IT WONT...I almost forgot.....FOOTBALL IS BACK BABY!!!! Fantasy football is in full swing, and so is the regular season...I think the 49ers are gonna pull out 5-7 wins this year, and mark my words...we'll be back in the playoffs w/in 4 years.  So excited about this year...just so long as the Pats dont win another super bowl, or the Eagles dont even make it....I'll love it...GO 49ERS!, and this means that college football is underway too, and both my teams came away with wins last weekend...Maryland pulled off a thriller against Navy, and the Longhorns won like 60-3 or somethin...heh, I dont even remember who they played...oh well, I'm hopin good things will come for both teams this year, and I think the Longhorns have a legitimate shot at a major bowl game this year.  Plus, they beat Michigan last year in a thriller at the Rose Bowl too!! but, each season is different, but always seems to be better than the last...jus how it goes
Aight y'all, till our next adventure........

Ah yea, its been a while.  Well, classes have started up already, and that means a new fun filled semester. Yea I know I'm takin a night class, but hey still fun.  Not much new stuff to talk about, still same old regular stuff, workin, chillin, hangin out.  The BCM leadership team had a retreat this weekend which was a lot of fun.  We got a lot of things done, but coulda done a lot more.  It was great seein everybody and just hangin out.  Our free time was spent hiking, bathing in a river (and yea a lil swimming), and shooting a 17 and a luger.  And then a little off-road adventure w/Betsy.  Yea she had her first off-road experience..the driveway to the cabin was really just a dirt path, so she got all muddy.  And then on the way home got a little dinged.  Jess decided that she hates me and plowed into the back of my car!!!   I dunno, maybe she doesn't like Betsy, still havent figured that out...jk..Love ya Jess!  She jus slid into the back of my car and left a dent maybe 4 inches long, nothin bad...but hey, it builds character.  So now instead of a nice shiny Jeep, I've got one w/mud on it and a nice character dent....heh, I dont know which is better!  Well, I'm excited about leadin Bible Study w/my boy Charles this semester its gonna be a lot of fun.  And what else....that should about do it I guess...still pretty tired from the weekend, but now I get to prepare for working 8 straight days, and what a fun filled 8 days that will be.

Whats crackin! Well, not much round the ole Bowie.  Had some more stabbings in good ole PG County, so our homicide rate is now up to 104, up like 45% from this point last year or sumthin.  Anyway, its hot again, and what a time for the A/C in my truck to go out, so thankfully its still under warranty so that's gettin taken in tomora to get fixed this week, so I havent driven Betsy all weekend, but hey, its savin me some gas too, seein as it went up 9 cents in less than a day and is now up to $2.50/gallon.  Ah, lets see, bunch of my friends from church are either goin back to college, or goin for their first semester, so, I may go visit some of em...heh or not, jus keep in touch , why? cuz I'm lazy like that.  Mom got a new job so that was good for her.  Heh, now we can afford to get a DISH!!   So that will be coming in the near future. After patiently waiting 19 years for it, its finally gonna be here.

Now for the fun part.  If you recall, last week I said I'm goin undercover for alcohol buys.  Well last nite I went up w/another cadet and a trooper to Baltimore City and did undercover, underage aclohol buys w/them.  What a blast.  Got to dress up like a thug and all that.  We had 8 busts...3 of us by ourselves and then both of us together got one.  We'd ride around w/the B-more city police and go into a liquor store or bars and try and get them to serve to us.  If they sold it to us, they'd see us walk out w/the bottle and then they'd go in and do their thing.  The bar scene was fun too. It was fun goin into the bars and jus startin up a convo w/some of the other people there.  IF they served it to us, we'd jus call out on the cell phone and then they'd go in and bust em.  Then if anyone asked us for ID's we'd jus say, 'ah man you knwo what..I left it in the car..lemme run out and get it.' Its too much to explain on here for each situation but, it was a lot of fun and I cant wait to do it again.  Heh, and the crazies come out at night...saw a lot of hookers and prostitutes doin their thing and wut not so, that was interesting too.  Livin in Bowie, I kinda have an idea of what its like, plus livin on the outskirts of DC too.  But the good Lord kept us safe and free from harm.  Tho we did see a drug deal goin on in the last store we went to which was pretty normal for B-more City.

But what a fun weekend, this week I'm on early shift so back to the same ole daily duece.  Have a good week yall and be safe.  Til your next ride in the limo...LATER

So...anyone else have a case of the Monday's?...........Anyone?.......Well, I guess things come full circle, cuz I havent had a case of the Monday's for a good bit. Well, today, sure was a case.  First, a little background info.  Our cruiser's radio has been messed up for a while.  Each time we transmit, the barrack claims there's a buzzing sound in the background.  So this weekend we had it in gettin it looked at.  Well we get it back today, and it works fine, the buzzing is gone.  Well Radio-Joe (his name is Joe and he's the radio man...2 and 2 together...you get it) didn't put stuff back where it was before, so we had to reorganize the truck and get everything straight.  So, radio is good and everything is fine....so far.  Our mission today was to help out another barrack b/c they were short of troopers, so ok sounds good, up there for 3 hours do a lil of this and that and head back down here.  Well we get up to the barrack's area and switch the channel over and call out, 'we're in you're area'  well, no response...again we do it...finally someone calls out, 'you're on the wrong channel.' WHAT!!! So we call the barrack and have the PCO do a signal test til we get the right channel (which we finally found it)...but she wasn't too pleased w/that.  And FYI this barrack is pretty screwed up as it is, which is too much to explain.  So we help out w/a couple accidents and what not, and of course once it starts raining people seem to forget how to drive, so of course they dont know what to do.  Well the time comes for us to leave, and the barrack doesn't even say we're good to leave, thanx for the help.  We dont hear anything from them...so we jus ate dinner and decided to head back to our normal area.  On the way we pull a truck over and do an inspection on it.  We type it up on our computer and write the citations and everything.  Well the trooper goes back to the driver to sign the tickets and I'm gettin the inspection report printed up, well, I hit print and....guess what? Nothing happens...gee what a suprise.  So I go back and check it out...well our good ole buddy Radio-Joe didn't plug the printer back in!! So I have to find the cables and wires for the right spot and all, well as I'm plugging everything in, the computer screen goes black.  So now the computer doesn't even work!!!  Great...juuuust great.  So now I'm tryin to get the computer back workin again.  Well I give up on this and now have to handwrite the thing real fast, tryin to remember all the violations and what not.  So after all that, we finally head back home.  Hit the scalehouse real quick, do our end of the day stuff.  But now, our computer is down so we cant do end of the day stats, we cant run licenses, we cant do our inspections on there....its all screwed up.  But, we're alive, the good Lord gave us the strength to get through it, and tomora is a new day.  Cant let one day slow ya down, jus gotta keep on trackin.

Well that was that...um, lets see, nothin else really new.  The Jeep is runnin well, gave her a bath on...Saturday, she's lookin good.  Uh, o yea, then got 3 movies for $25 at Blockbuster, really good deal there.  And...that's about it, oh yea and I'm doin underage alcohol buys on Saturday nite in the city so tune in next week for my adventure's there.  Well, it has been a Monday, and as I said, the bad day is done, the Lord pulled us through, thankful to be alive and well and have the Lord answer your prayers, even before you finish praying!! How awesome is that!!!

Well, hope yall had a good day, be safe, and have a good week. I'll be back, and stronger than ever!!
